by Saro Suri – 16 March, 2020 Saro, Dear Friends and Guests: Due to the ongoing mass outbreak of COVID-19 virus around the world, and the medical care situation of the local communities in our homeland, we are sincerely urging all of our dear friends and guests, especially those friends and guests from the affected countries and regions, just slowing down your steps, hold on your travel plans and postpone your trips to Africa. The War against COVID-19 Virus, need the fully cooperation from every members of the World Communities, please temporary stay still at home, postpone the international travel to prevent the spreading of the Virus!!! Please help us to keep the COVID-19 Virus away from Suri, Mursi and all the other communities in our homeland, away from Ethiopia and South Sudan, and away from our Mama Africa! from Olisarali Olibui – 16 July 2019 Ermiya be tino Suri ke Yelegoy ŋamɛya aɗɛsɛ timirti tii na ɗeya na ŋamɛya se ɗa kete ermiya bo. na ŋɔŋ hali gay lɔginya hula zuwa ke kuchumba؛ na ŋamɛya keseni ke kuchumunutɔ ɓa ŋɔŋ ane may haŋ na ɗeyanɛ ŋalɔgta age be kese ke ŋakɔwanawye. ŋamɛya wuriyo lɔginya se hali meso og na ɛɗɛmɛsi zuwa gunyu na kɔkɔwɔ gɔra nunu. ŋazugta iwoye biyoy a zuwa lɔmɛ sabiya ɗaɗala haŋ. The small little boy Yelegoy from Suri community now became a big boy he has been pushing hard of his study and now he reach top. We are proud of you. He is first boy from his community won Gold Medals, this was amazing. For your next job is to work hard to help your indigenous community to continuous study in same way you did. I believe the indigenous people have brilliant mind and they can do it. Thump up. We are proud of you!
