9 July 2019 is the 8th anniversary of the Independence Day of South Sudan🇸🇸, we wish all of our Suri-Kachipo brothers and sisters, and all of our South Sudanese friends, Happy Independence Day!
The people from outside world usually called Suri and Mun (Mursi) people as “Surma”, they also called Mela (Me’en) people as “Bodi”. BUT SORRY, WE MUST TELL YOU THAT THIS IS INCORRECT! THIS IS NOT THE ORIGINAL NAME GIVEN TO US BY OUR ANCESTORS! PLEASE RESPECT OUR TRADITIONAL NAME! We are Suri (Suri in South Sudan also called as “Suri Kachipo“), Mun (Mursi) and Mela (Me’en) Surma, Bodi ≠ Our Name
